Palestinians protested at a major crossing point between Israel and the Gaza Strip. Tuesday’s protest at the Erez crossing came a day after a Palestinian man died there during what was described as a morning “stampede” into Israel by Palestinian laborers. Israeli officials said the man died of a heart attack while waiting on line.
