Palestinians ransacked the office of an academic just before he was set to release a survey of Palestinian refugees. The trashing of Khalil Shikaki’s office in Ramallah on Sunday forced him to cancel a news conference during which he was to announce that a survey showed that most Palestinian refugees are prepared to give up their demands for a “right of return” to Israel in exchange for financial compensation.
