THE PAMPHLET, MAILED FROM VARIOUS POSTAL DISTRICTS IN BERLIN, CONTAINS A LONG, RHYMED PARODY OF “DAS NIEBELUNGENLIED” WHICH MOCKS REICHSFUEHRER HITLER AND OTHER HIGH NAZI OFFICIALS.

“WHY THESE MENACING AND INFLAMMATORY SPEECHES AGAINST THE DEMOCRACIES?” THE PAMPHLET ASKS THE GERMANS. “WHY THESE SILLY RAGES AGAINST THE JEWS? THE LANGUAGE OF PEACE WAS NOT PREACHED AT NUREMBERG, BUT THE LANGUAGE OF AND FOR WAR. TO WHOSE ADVANTAGE?”
