A Pan-Arab Congress is to be called shortly in Amman, the capital of Transjordania, the “New York Times” reports from Jerusalem to-day. This Congress is being called in order to secure the independence of the Arabs in the Mandated Territories of Palestine and Syria, for which Great Britain and France hold now the Mandates respectively.
