A special supplement refuting the ritual murder slanders of Julius Streicher’s Der Stuermer and other German newspapers has been confiscated by the authorities. The supplement was part of the Juedisches Familienblatt published by Chief Rabbi Carlebach.
The reason given for the government action was that the supplement would tend to arouse disquiet among the population. While the authorities saw fit to withdraw the Familienblatt supplement, the Stuermer continues its anti-Semitic campaign undisturbed.
