A Paris court today convicted and fined three persons involved with the anti-Semitic weekly, “Aspects de 1a France, “for the publication of articles attaching Premier Pierre Mendez-France as a Jew.”
Lionel Moreux, director of the publication, and M, Bourtang, a writer, were fined the equivalent of $1,400 each for libelling the Premier, Philippe Chancerelle, writing under the name of Philippe Luc, was fined the equivalent of $140 for insulting remarks about M. Mendez-France.
