Parts for a $1,333,000 computer arrived in Israel from the United States in 100 cases and were brought to the Weizmann Institute where it was assembled today. The computer is expected to be put in operation within the next 24 hours, officials of the Institute’s Department of Applied Mathematics, said.
A Rothschild Memorial Foundation grant made it possible for Israel to acquire the computer.
