Passenger traffic at Lydda Airport reached a record this month of 130,000 arrivals and departures, airport officials reported today. The traffic Sunday marked the highest one day total – 7,000 passengers – 300 more than the previous record. Tourism Ministry officials said that more accommodations were needed and urged construction of additional hotels to provide for the increasing movement of tourists.
