Jewish families on home relief lists will be able to purchase food-stuffs made according to dietary laws for the Passover, it was pronounced yesterday by Welfare Commissioner William Hodson. Special arrangements have been made for them.
Food tickets for matzoths, grocery items and traditional dishes for the holiday will be issued to needy Jewish families during the period of March 30-April 7. The commissioner’s announcement was the result of a request for such action contained in a resolution introduced in the Board of Aldermen by Aldermen Samuel Feingold.
