Despite international tensions, the stoppage of American aid, the fuel shortage and other difficulties that have beset Israel since last autumn’s Sinai action, Israel will celebrate Passover with a plentitude of holiday supplies, the Ministry of Commerce announced today. White sugar–banned recently for general consumption–will be distributed for Passover, in addition to regular rations of brown sugar.
