Pastor Martin Niemoller, who was liberated from a German concentration camp two weeks ago after eight years of imprisonment is being shown around Naples by Major Samuel Teitelbaum, a Jewish chaplain from East St. Louis, Ill.
“We got acquainted naturally enough, since we were billeted at the same hotel,” Major Teitelbaum said. “He’s a friendly sort of man, but it’s hard for him to realize that he is actually free and can move about and talk with anybody. He is getting a great thrill just going around with me on casual sightseeing tours.
