The death toll in the sinking of the refugee ship Patria on Nov. 25 reached 66 today when two more unidentified bodies were recovered from the ship and one of the survivors, Harriet Himnova, 20, of Czechoslovakia, died of typhoid in the Athlit concentration camp.
Meanwhile, the “Sadegerer Rebbe” started a collection of “taleithim” (prayer shawls), “tefilin” (phylacteries) and holy books for the approximately 1,600 survivors at Athlit.
