Paul Drefus de Gunzberg, one of the most active Jewish leaders in this country, died here at the age of 72. He was also one of the country’s leading financiers, being head of one of the largest banks in Switzerland, Le Fils Drefus.
Mr. Gunzberg was vice-president of the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities, a vice-president of ORT of Switzerland, and a member of the board of governors of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He was also active in many other Jewish organizations and causes.
