Mrs.Pauline Warbur, widow of the late Consul General Simon Elias Warburg, is dead here at the age of 91.
Mrs. Warburg, is nee Drucker, survived her husband, who was the brother of the well-known literary historian, Prof. Karl Warburg, by 40 years. On her seventieth birthday she dedicated 200,000 kroners in memory of her son for installation of a professorate of history at Stockholm University, thus laying the cornerstone for what later became the historic philosophical faculty at the university.
Mrs. Warburg also financed publication of the second volume of the history of the Stockholm Technical High School. In 1926, the State recognized her activities by decorating her with the Swedish Gold Medal for Civic Merit.
