Peace with Israel could create more than 1 million new jobs for the Palestinians, a new study found. The study, carried out by Portland Trust, a British consortium, also found that the Israeli economy could regain $5 billion a year as a result of peace, the Jerusalem Post reported. The Palestinian “peace dividend” could be $850 million annually, the study found.
