Eighty percent of the Jew of Bogota, capital Colombia, lost property during the recent anti-government riots there, Dr. Joseph ##utzendler, Jewish Telegraphic Agency correspondent in Colombia who is now in New York declared today. He told the JTA that recent letters from Bogota estimated at some $500,000 worth of Jewish property was destroyed.Dr. 0rut26Ddler, a prominent local physician and a former representative of ### Joint Distribution committee in Colombia, added that the attacks on Jewish shops are not because of any anti-Semitic feeling, but as part of the mob action against pi Shops. He said the Jens lost heavily because they were not insured against loss ## mob action.

The Jew in Bogota do not need food or medical care, he stated, but need ##unds to re-establish their businesses. In the cities of Medellin and Cali, where ##ly large Jewish Communities exist, he asserted, ## Jews suffered very little ##ring the disturbances.
