Captain Joshua Goldberg, the only Jewish chaplain to hold that rank in the United States Navy, was today received by President Peron in the presence of Dr. Pablo Manguel, Argentine Minister to Israel.
A new building of the local ORT school was opened at a ceremony here today by M. Mavenburg, president of the Argentine ORT. One of the chief speakers at the ceremony was David Schweitzer, representative of the World ORT Union, who reviewed the organization’s activities throughout the world, stressing particularly its work in Israel. Courses in sewing, hair dressing and linotyping will be given in the new building here.
