Moshe Tov, Israel Ambassador Extraordinary, was received in audience today by President Juan Peron. Mr. Tov, who was accompanied by Dr. Arieh Kubovi, Israel Minister to Argentina, conveyed to General Peron the personal greetings of President Itzhak Ben Zvi and Premier Moshe Sharett.
The President reiterated his expressions of friendship for the State of Israel. Angel Borlenghi, Acting Foreign Minister of Argentina, who was present during the meeting, informed Mr. Tov of President Peron’s decision to plant a grove of trees along the road to Buenos Aires’ airport in honor of the late Chaim Weizmann, first President of Israel.
