Manuel Scheinsohn, president of the pro-Peron Jewish organization O.I.A., was received today by President Juan Peron with whom he discussed problems relating to the admission of Jews from Europe to Argentina. Mr. Scheinsohn indicated later that Jewish applications for visas will have to be cleared through the O.I.A.
Dr. David Bergman, director of the Weizmann Institute of Science at Rehovoth, Israel, was received here last week by Mime. Evita Peron who asked him to transmit to President Chaim Weizmann the most cordial greetings. He was accompanied by Israel Minister to Argentina Yaakov Tsur and by Dr. A. Mibashan, Jewish Agency representative.
