President Juan Peron sent a wreath of flowers to the funeral of Dr. Ricardo Dubrovsky, president of the DAIA, central representative body of Argentine Jews, who died late last week. Dr. Dubrovsky was buried at the Liniers Jewish Cemetery.
The funeral, one of the largest ever held for a Jewish leader, was marked by eulogies by members of the staff of the Rawson Hospital here where Dr. Dubrovsky had been head of the department of Obstetrics, by members of the staff of Buenos Aires University where he served as Professor of Obstetrics, and by Jewish leaders from this country and abroad. Among those who spoke were Dr. Arieh Kubovi. Israel Minister to Buenos Aires, and Dr. Pabio Manguel, Argentine envoy to Israel, who is currently home for a lecture tour.
