The Social Ministry of the Provincial Government of Westphalia, Germany, has been giving favorable consideration to applications for grants from persecutees, the Jewish Committee for Relief Abroad reported today. Special emigration grants vary according to the circumstances of the Immigrants, the Committee said, adding that the grants enable the persecutees to purchase clothing and household goods.
The Committee pointed out that displaced Jews receiving short notice to leave for Israel have teen extended favorable decisions on grants through the intervention of the organization’s representative.
