Twenty-five thousand persons assembled here day on the eve of the fifth anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising to honor the Ghetto fighters. The rally was held in the largest outdoor stadium in the city.
The rally sent a message to Warsaw expressing solidarity with the reconnection of Jewish life in Poland, and voicing the conviction that a Jewish state in Palestine would be created soon. All Jewish shops will close here tomorrow afternoon the same time the ghetto fighters’ memorial will be unveiled in Warsaw.
