A $1,000,000 gift has been made to Philadelphia’s Albert Einstein Medical Center by Dr. and Mrs. Leon Levy, it was announced today. A 459 bed hospital building at the Medical Center’s Northern Division will be named “The Leon Levy Medical-Surgical Building” in recognition of the gift.

Dr. Levy is a member of the board of directors of Columbia Broadcasting System. He also is a member of Einstein’s Board of Trustees. Mrs. Levy is the former Blanche Paley, daughter of Mrs. Samuel Paley, of Phila., and the late Mr. Paley.
