Mayor James H. J. Tate today proclaimed the period of February 15 to March 15 as “Zionist Mobilization Month” when an intensive campaign will get underway to enroll Philadelphians as members of the Zionist Organization of America.
In ceremonies here this morning, an official proclamation marking the event was read by Fred T. Corleto, managing director, on behalf of Mayor Tate. Among those taking part in the ceremonies was a delegation representing the Philadelphia Zionist Organization, local French of the Zionist Organization of America, headed by Milton Gold, president.
