Labelling George Sylvester Vicreck a “Hitler Propagandist,” the Philadelphia Record editorially criticizes a speech made by Viereck in Philadelphia recently.
The editorial says: “Viereck’s happy findings include one that Hitler has given the German people ‘social justice’ and has brought new faith and light.”
“It is hard,” the editorial reads, “to understand this rubbish. Is murder of the Jews justified, because Jews are only one percent of the people? And as for the Jewish problem which ‘distorts’ the German picture–isn’t that problem entirely of Hitler’s making? Does Viereck include the several hundred thousand liberals and radicals in prison camps as beneficiaries of Hitler ‘social justice? Does he include the workers’ unions which have been smashed?”
The editorial recalls charges made by Ludwig Lore that Viereck is a propagandist in explanation of his attitude.
