Klutznick, president of B’nai B’rith, issued a statement saying that the “hasty execution by the Egyptian Government of two Jews accused of being Zionists and Israel agents following appeals for clemency by the United States, Great Britain, France, the Vatican and private organizations, was a deliberate attempt to flout civilized opinion.”
