Philip G. Whitman, former president of the American Friends of the Hebrew University, died this weekend at the age of 68. He was a member of Board of Governors of the Hebrew University, a founder of the Long Island Jewish Hospital, and chairman of the United Jewish Appeal and of the Fereration of Jewish Philanthropies in the Five Towns area of Long Island.
