Dr. B. S. Pollak, medical director of the Hudson County Tuberculosis Hospital and Sanitarium here and Jewish communal leader, received special praise at the current combined convention in Cincinnati of the National Tuberculosis Association and the American Sanatorium Association.
Dr. Pollak, an authority on tuberculosis, was instrumental in obtaining $3,000,000 of PWA funds for a new sanitarium, with special provisions for surgical treatment of patients.
