Pierre Auber, who was appointed Foreign Minister last month, has resigned from his post as president of the Swiss-Israel Friendship Association. When Auber’s name as condidate was brought up he was attacked even by members of his own party who declared that Auber was identified as pro-Israel and could not be Foreign Minister of a neutral country like Switzerland.
