Earth from all corners of Israel as well as wreaths of flowers were laid today on the grave of Ze’ev Jabotinsky, founder of the Jewish Legion and of the Zionist-Revisionist movement. The pilgrimage to Jabotin sky’s grave at the New Montefiore cemetery. Pine Lawn, Long Island, was arranged by the United Zionists-Revisionists of America to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of Jabotinsky’s death.
Among the participants at the memorial service, were members of the Zionist-Revisionists of America, the League of Veterans of the Jewish Legion, which fought with Lord Allenby against the Turks, and the Long Island posts of the American Jewish War Veterans. Binyamin Eliav, Israel Consul General in New York participated in the ceremony with the Jewish Legion members.
