His first flight on a furtrading by airplane adventure that was “going to make us rich” ended in death last week for Marian W. Goldstein, Alaska fur dealer, who left Seattle February 18th, with a new plane, planning to start an aerial fur-trading company in Alaska to supplant trading by dog team.
Killed with Goldstein was Ted Morris, Seattle aviator and Goldstein’s pilot. The crash occurred near Fairbanks, Alaska.
Goldstein was born in Juneau and is survived by his widow and son, as well as his father and mother and a sister living in Los Angeles.
