The twenty-fourth anniversary of the Pioneer Women’s Organization of Canada was marked here over the week-end with a large gathering and reception for Israel consuls Abraham Harman and Arie Ben Tuvim. Mr. Harman, in an address to the conclave, stressed the role of the Jewish woman in the upbuilding of Israel pointing out that woman have not only won equal rights but have also assumed equal responsibilities.
