A new project, new to Pittsburgh, was announced this week by Leon Falk Jr., president of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies.
Formulated by Dr. Ludwig B. Bernstein, executive director of the Federation, the plan provides for several “functional” committees comprised of Federation board members, who will make a study of local Jewish groups and agencies. Committees for several leading organizations have already been appointed.
