A scheme by which persons wishing to emigrate from Czechoslovakia to Palestine may take along their assets in the form of exportable goods is being discussed here following the arrival from Jerusalem of Eugen Winterstein, who before the war was secretary-general of the Jewish Party in Slovakia.
Winterstein, who has already conferred with the Ministry of Foreign Trade here and the head of the Department of Industry and Commerce in the semi-autonomous Slovak Government, is representing an organization called “RASSCO,” which was formed to facilitate the settlement of Czechoslovak Jews in Palestine.
