An appeal to world Jewry to create a fund for the erection in Tiberias of a monument to Moses Maimonides, the Jewish philosopher, and to restore his tomb there, will be issued from here by Chief Rabbi Haim Nahum of Egypt, it was announced today.
The appeal will be sponsored by Joseph Cattaui Pasha, president of the Society for Jewish Historical Studies in Egypt.
