The possibility of placing the Judea Insurance Company, Ltd. of Palestine under the control of Palestinians will be taken up with Palestinian leaders and members of the Zionist Executive by Louis Lipsky, president of the Judea Life Insurance Company of America, when he arrives in Berlin to attend the sessions of the Zionist Actions Committee on August 24th, according to an announcement made on the eve of Mr. Lipsky’s departure for Europe.
Mr. Lipsky, who is former president of the Zionist Organization of America, is expected to take a large part in the important deliberations that will be held at Berlin to decide on the future Zionist attitude to Great Britain as the Mandatory Power over Palestine.
While he is in Berlin he will negotiate with Zionists participating in the sessions with a vew to establishing the Judea Life Insurance Company, Ltd. of Palestine under the eventual management, control and possible proprietorship of Palestinian Jews. At the present time the Judea Life Insurance Co., Ltd. of Palestine is under the control of the Judea Industrial Corporation of America. The president of the American organization, Julius Lonschein, has authorized Mr. Lipsky to negotiate on behalf of the Judea Industrial Corporation.
