Plans for the gala launching of the inaugural flight of El Al from O’Hare Airport April 2 are being made by a committee of community leaders, appointed by Raymond Epstein, chairman of the Public Affairs Committee of the Jewish United Fund. After the ceremonies, surrounding the hoisting of the flag of Israel at O’Hare, the inaugural flight will depart carrying, among other dignitaries, a campaign workers mission from the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago.
