An appeal for support of the current $500,000 twenty-fifth anniversary drive of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities on behalf of its twenty-fifth constituent societies was voiced last night by County Judge Algernon I. Nova, chairman.
The federation, Judge Nova pointed out, includes two Brooklyn hospitals, an orphanage, a family welfare agency, six Talmud Torahs, five Young Men’s Hebrew Associations and community centers and several agencies for the prevention and correction of delinquency in the young.
