Pnina Herzog, president of the International Council of Women, received an honorary doctorate for her activities in the fields of women’s rights, health and welfare. Herzog, the first Israeli president of the organization, was awarded the degree Sunday from the Interamerican University of Santo Domingo by Manuel Morales Lama, the Dominican Republic’s ambassador in Israel.
