(Jewish Telegraphic Agency Mail Service)
The twentieth anniversary of the foundation of the Poale Zion Party which was to have been celebrated here was prohibited by the government.
All arrangements for the holding of the celebration were already completed, when the Government Commissariat informed the Party that permission could not be given for the gathering. The representatives of the Party intervened with the Deputies of the Polish Socialist Party who made representations to the Government, but without results.
The Poale Zion Party was founded in Poltava in 1906.
