The Summer Kvutzah of the Young Poale Zion opens at Accord, N. Y., this Sunday, with two sessions scheduled, the first to extend through August 11 and the second, a two weeks’ course, following.
Three courses will be given during the first session—Methods and Forms of Tsofiuth – Chalutziuth, conducted by Yasha Kohn of Montreal; Theory of Socialism-Zionism, conducted by Jacob Katzman; Palestinography and the Jewish Workers’ Movement in Palestine, conducted by Ralph Margolin.
Other lecturers on the Kvutzah calendar include: Berl Locker, Joseph Sprinzak, Chaim Greenberg, Goldie Myerson, Elazar Galili, David Wertheim, Uri Engelman and Jacob Lemberger.
The Kvutzah is self-supporting and all work, including the building of equipment and quarters is done by the members themselves. At the close of the season there will be a conference of the leading members of the organization to plan a program of work and study for the entire youth movement the coming year.
