Indemnity for damages sustained during the anti-Jewish rioting in Berlin last week by Jewish citizens of Poland, is being demanded by the Polish Government. Poland’s diplomatic representatives in Berlin, Munich, Breslau and other places have been instructed to demand satisfaction for past grievances and safeguards for the life and property of Polish citizens in Germany.
The expulsion of Polish citizens from German soil has also been made a subject of the representatives, the Warsaw Government threatening to institute similar repressions on Polish soil against German citizens in the absence of adequate assurances.
