The first Jewish artisans’ school here to use Yiddish as the language of instruction has received state authorization and will be permitted to issue diplomas which will be recognized by the state, is was learned here yesterday.
The school is under the direction of the ORT, which since its organization in 1922 has promoted interest in technical trades and agriculture among the Jews of Eastern Europe.
