Stricter enforcement of the restrictions on kosher meat slaughter, with increased penalties for violation, were forecast today by a Commerce Ministry spokesman, who said the action would be taken jointly by the Ministries of Commerce, Interior and Agriculture.

He told a delegation from the Kosher Meat Board that the quota of kosher meat Jewish butchers are permitted to produce would definitely not be increased, but, to the contrary, would be considerably decreased.

Nationalists terrorized Jews during marketing at Sokolow-Podlaski. The anti-Semites were routed by police.
