Poland’s deputy prime minister accepted his second award from an anti-Semitic Ukrainian university. Andrzej Lepper accepted an honorary professorship Jan. 31 from MAUP, a private Ukrainian university that has published anti-Jewish tracts. He also received an honorary doctorate from MAUP in 2004, after which he told JTA that he had only learned of the school’s reputation in Jewish circles following his award. The Anti-Defamation League issued a statement condemning Lepper.
