A storm of protest broke out in the Polish press in the province of Posen when it became known that former Minister of the Interior Mlodzianowski was appointed Wojewoda (governor) of the district of Pomerania.
The anti-Semitic newspapers state that Mlodzianowski is “a friend of the Jews and his appointment to the governorship would mean that the district would be flooded with Jews from Congress Poland.”
A delegation of Polish citizens of Graudenz directed a request to President Moscicki asking that he withdraw the appointment.
