Security forces were combing central Israel today in search of a fedayeen unit from Jordan which fired on and wounded two Israeli policemen last night.
Meanwhile, an Arab shepherd boy, an Israeli national, was killed south of the village of Tibeh when he stepped on a mine planted by Jordanians. Stones were thrown from the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem last night into the new city.
Syrian gun positions on the eastern shore of Lake Huleh opened fire on Israeli units which replied. There were no casualties among the Israeli troops.
