Twelve Israel Communists who have “occupied” the Jewish Agency building here for soveral days in protest against alloged discrimination against Communists in agricultural settlements were forcibly evicted today by the police.
The economic and foreign affaire committees of the Mapei and Mapam–the right-wing and left-wing sections of the Socialist Party, respectively–met here last night for an exchange of views. The meeting was deseribed as exploratory and designed to reach an agreement which would permit the Mapam to join the present coalition government, The talks were inconclusive, but they will be resumed later in Jerusalem.
