Police foiled an attempt to smuggle a million Ecstasy pills into Israel. Israeli police this week lifted a gag order on the interception in May of some $22 million worth of the illegal stimulant, one of the biggest hauls in Israeli history. The drugs were hidden in a cargo container shipped to the Haifa port from Europe. Police are pursuing charges against three suspects.
