Police have released two members of the Maoist group “Red Youth,” who were arrested last Wednesday in connection with bombings in Eindhoven last Oct. The men were arrested after considerable quantities of explosives were found in their homes, but were later released for “lack of evidence.” According to the Dutch daily, “Algemeen Dagblad,” police are now maintaining a close watch on a house rented by a group of Palestinians. In an interview with the daily, “Het Parool,” the leader of the Maoist group, Willem Oskam, said his group keeps “close contact” with the Netherlands Palestine Committee. Police have not yet established whether the explosions last Oct. in various Dutch cities were the work of one or several groups.
